With a little luck, MŠK Púchov's Štefan Šandal got control of the ball when Gejza Fischer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lukáš Štovčík received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanislav Žabka came out and tried to block the shot, but Lukáš Štovčík slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 71st minute. When Peter Zeman came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the MŠK Púchov fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Zeman couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the game, MŠK Púchov's Lukáš Štovčík nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
