FK Púchov's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pokemon the free kick. After 12 played minutes FK Púchov got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Pukelník. Daniel Horáček sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vladimír Šesták made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Horáček in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match, Mikuláš Jarošík tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vladimír Šesták saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ismo Lahtela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Piotr Rydz's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Pokemon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Horáček was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mikuláš Jarošík ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes into the match, Pokemon's Mikuláš Jarošík sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimír Šesták narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 96 played minutes FK Púchov got a freekick which was hit by Ján Tirpák. Pokemon walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
