The supporters of FC Dlha booed when MIK Focus ŽILINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qu Yuan Bin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rudolf Pisarčík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Glad in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Jarne Vloeberghs made a precise shot to the right of Rudolf Pisarčík. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Vinström in the 34th minute of play forced MIK Focus ŽILINA's goalkeeper Ladislav Vališ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC Dlha's Rudolf Pisarčík got control of the ball when Bengt-Arne Glad tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Dlha's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stancho Basarov was slow to take the kick. During this time MIK Focus ŽILINA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on MIK Focus ŽILINA's corner Stancho Basarov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rudolf Pisarčík quite easily take care of the ball. But to his dismay, Jarne Vloeberghs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 85 minutes into the game, Bengt-Arne Glad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Rudolf Pisarčík was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th minute, Jarne Vloeberghs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rudolf Pisarčík was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Rudolf Pisarčík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Glad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MIK Focus ŽILINA were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after FC Dlha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stancho Basarov took the corner. FC Dlha's Rudolf Pisarčík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarne Vloeberghs in the 94th minute of play. MIK Focus ŽILINA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
