In the 19th match minute, MIK Focus ŽILINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zulkarnaen Bramantio to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Bengt-Arne Glad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 played minutes FC Štitáre got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Lalkovič. MIK Focus ŽILINA were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after FC Štitáre's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stancho Basarov took the corner. Bengt-Arne Glad made a great header on MIK Focus ŽILINA's corner, it was just that FC Štitáre's Agustin Geleberto managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute Bengt-Arne Glad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Stancho Basarov was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustin Geleberto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. FC Štitáre's Agustin Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Olvera in the 37th minute of play. If Concetto Guadagnoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Andres Nurm fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Štitáre's protests and gave Andres Nurm a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MIK Focus ŽILINA booed when FC Štitáre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Nurm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qu Yuan Bin's late challenge caught a FC Štitáre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Qu Yuan Bin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Štitáre booed when MIK Focus ŽILINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qu Yuan Bin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donovan Burris to strike the kick off in the second half. Kristián Slávik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andres Nurm kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, MIK Focus ŽILINA's Jeremy Olvera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agustin Geleberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ladislav Vališ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Burris in the 59th minute of play. Bengt-Arne Glad succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. When Bengt-Arne Glad came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the MIK Focus ŽILINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt-Arne Glad couldn't finish the play. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Sidnei Machado was substituted for Kristián Slávik. After a rather tough play, MIK Focus ŽILINA's Zulkarnaen Bramantio got a free kick in the 69th minute. Concetto Guadagnoli took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ladislav Vališ. Ladislav Vališ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Agustin Geleberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Glad in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Štitáre's Agustin Geleberto got control of the ball when Bengt-Arne Glad tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Sidnei Machado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Agustin Geleberto, 1-2. MIK Focus ŽILINA's Ladislav Vališ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donovan Burris in the 79th minute of play. If Sidnei Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Geleberto came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by MIK Focus ŽILINA's Jarne Vloeberghs. But to his dismay, Jarne Vloeberghs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 84 minutes into the match, FC Štitáre's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Machado came free, but Agustin Geleberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute MIK Focus ŽILINA were awarded a corner. Stancho Basarov went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Stancho Basarov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Štitáre's Agustin Geleberto did a great save. Agustin Geleberto made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Bengt-Arne Glad sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Geleberto was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Bengt-Arne Glad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bengt-Arne Glad really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. Agustin Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidnei Machado in the 95th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MIK Focus ŽILINA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
