Spectators: 6792 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1792, VIP seats: 0) Ivančna Gorica ND's Jasim Ribać started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miško Flakus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matjaž Donkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, Semič's Rahman Sorec got a free kick in the 5th minute. Miško Flakus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matjaž Donkov in the 10th minute of the match. Servacij Trupej in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elin Mamlić, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ivančna Gorica ND's Miško Flakus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matjaž Donkov in the 14th minute of play. Miško Flakus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matjaž Donkov in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Semič got a freekick which was hit by Benis Svet. Jasim Ribać sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Ivančna Gorica ND's Adi Šega got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Matjaž Donkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miško Flakus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasim Ribać might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elin Mamlić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jasim Ribać ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Semič's zone, Jasim Ribać stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elin Mamlić came out of the goal and Jasim Ribać tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Semič getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Benis Svet hit a great ball. Antonin Smerke hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Jasim Ribać fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elin Mamlić having to interfere. When Adrijano Zorin fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Semič's protests and gave Adrijano Zorin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Semič was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrijano Zorin to maneuver through the defense. Semič's Elin Mamlić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Servacij Trupej in the 68th minute of play. Matjaž Donkov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miško Flakus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Miško Flakus came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Semič's Janos Juhant. But to his dismay, Janos Juhant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 81 minutes, Georgij Terdič mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ivančna Gorica ND and the Semič players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes Ivančna Gorica ND got a freekick which was hit by Georgij Terdič. Miško Flakus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matjaž Donkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Ivančna Gorica ND's Servacij Trupej in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Semič's goalie prevented a goal. If Servacij Trupej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elin Mamlić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasim Ribać in the 95th minute of play. Janos Juhant made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 97thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Miško Flakus would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The Semič supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Semič would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
