Domžale's Domen Poteko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilijan Zavadlav in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitan Cijan in the 14th minute of play forced Domžale's goalkeeper Domen Poteko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes, Animo Krasniqi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Domžale and the Polje players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Ivančič made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Polje's Emilijan Zavadlav slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domen Poteko. That made the score 3-1 after 52 minutes of play. Rasti Sršen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Ivančič in the 58th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vitan Cijan got free with Domen Poteko in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4-1 became the score in the 62nd minute when Miha Metelan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 68th minute Remo Ivančič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rasti Sršen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rasti Sršen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Ivančič in the 69th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Remo Ivančič ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rasti Sršen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Domžale walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
