Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Suljo Krulec took the kick off in the first half of the match. Suljo Krulec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jurček Zorko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egidio Kovič showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernhard Lomšek in the 23rd minute of the match. When Bernhard Lomšek came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Gornja Radgona NK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernhard Lomšek couldn't finish the play. The attack was good, but when Bernhard Lomšek in the 29th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Bernhard Lomšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Egidio Kovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Bernhard Lomšek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gornja Radgona NK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernhard Lomšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 34 in the game by Severin Remškar from a close distance when the talented Egidio Kovič managed to make a qualified save. Kostel ND's players were relieved. Ognjen Torkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Severin Remškar came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Gornja Radgona NK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severin Remškar couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Bernhard Lomšek fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Egidio Kovič, passed just outside the right post. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kostel ND's goalkeeper Egidio Kovič, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernhard Lomšek was the one to do the kick off. If Bernhard Lomšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Kostel ND's Suljo Krulec in the 62nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jurček Zorko was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Gornja Radgona NK through an amazing save. Bernhard Lomšek scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Egidio Kovič, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the game, Ognjen Torkar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gornja Radgona NK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kostel ND the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gornja Radgona NK's Ognjen Torkar got a free kick in the 66th minute. Bernhard Lomšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Kostel ND's Egidio Kovič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ognjen Torkar in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Gornja Radgona NK booed when Kostel ND was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksa Pavlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severin Remškar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Egidio Kovič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernhard Lomšek in the 89th minute of play forced Kostel ND's goalkeeper Egidio Kovič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zdravko Cink kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Severin Remškar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gornja Radgona NK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
