Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Milton Stritar started the match with the kick off. Cvetan Kobal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Milton Stritar's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The referee gave Nazarje FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Šefik Blejec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Krško's Danijel Verdev. 1-0. Mehmedalija Bukovec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Nazarje FC booed when Krško was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kole Korošec didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Mehmedalija Bukovec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazarje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmedalija Bukovec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danijel Verdev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nazarje FC's Cvetan Kobal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milton Stritar in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 31 minutes, Elsadet Bantan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazarje FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elsadet Bantan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mehmedalija Bukovec might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danijel Verdev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mehmedalija Bukovec ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomen Brglez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Cvetan Kobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sladjan Špindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milton Stritar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cvetan Kobal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlastimir Sket, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sladjan Špindler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Milton Stritar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Šerif Žuža had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, one of Krško:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 67th minute, Mehmedalija Bukovec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sladjan Špindler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomen Brglez got free with Cvetan Kobal in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomen Brglez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Mehmedalija Bukovec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nazarje FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmedalija Bukovec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danijel Verdev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krško's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
