If Roko Jereb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes, Lorenco Prunk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luče FC and the Puconci players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Puconci booed when Luče FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenco Prunk didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ajdin Sončar managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Puconci's Roko Jereb fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roko Jereb in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ajdin Sončar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 15 played minutes Luče FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnel Veber. In the 17thth minute of the game Šefko Selan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luče FC's Ajdin Sončar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Luče FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alojzij Svatovšek hit a great ball. Ajdin Sončar was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Arsen Kuder capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arsen Kuder really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Šefko Selan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ajdin Sončar was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Svetozar Dvornik shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 36 minutes, Savin Svatovšek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luče FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Savin Svatovšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Savin Svatovšek to strike the kick off in the second half. If Arnel Veber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Puconci's Mike Čižman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savin Svatovšek in the 60th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Arsen Kuder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ajdin Sončar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Šefko Selan in the 70th minute of play. Šefko Selan took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ajdin Sončar. Ajdin Sončar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Arnel Veber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Mike Čižman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Luče FC booed when Puconci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Šefko Selan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savin Svatovšek in the 88th minute of play forced Puconci's goalkeeper Mike Čižman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ajdin Sončar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roko Jereb's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Roko Jereb might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ajdin Sončar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roko Jereb ran back to his position shaking his head. Roko Jereb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ajdin Sončar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Puconci had won after a very even match.
