In the 4thth minute of the game Samuel Kolarič who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lendavske gorice's Damiano Serdinšek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Živko Klavžar made a precise shot to the right of Damiano Serdinšek. Lendavske gorice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuel Kolarič in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damiano Serdinšek saved Lendavske gorice from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Bloke's Samuel Kolarič nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damiano Serdinšek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After having played for 28 minutes, Luc Prosenik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bloke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luc Prosenik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Kolarič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Damiano Serdinšek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luc Prosenik, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Damiano Serdinšek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luc Prosenik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Damiano Serdinšek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Kolarič in the 52nd minute of the match. Andželin Vene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tony Hlebec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Samuel Kolarič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luc Prosenik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Serdinšek having to interfere. Lendavske gorice's Damiano Serdinšek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Lendavske gorice from getting a goal against them. Damiano Serdinšek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Prosenik in the 78th minute of play. Adalbert Novinec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Samuel Kolarič came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Bloke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Kolarič couldn't finish the play. Luc Prosenik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tony Hlebec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalbert Novinec in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Bloke booed when Lendavske gorice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Povše didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bloke's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
