Spectators: 6780 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Julij Burnić kicked off to start the match. Andželin Vene hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Julij Burnić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Damiano Serdinšek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julij Burnić in the 17th minute of play forced Lendavske gorice's goalkeeper Damiano Serdinšek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th match minute, Lendavske gorice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michell Aničić to maneuver through the defense. Prebold NK's Julij Burnić got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adalbert Novinec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Prebold NK defense, Andželin Vene kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferid Šoster. The Prebold NK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferid Šoster should have stopped the shot. Roberto Kašibović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Damiano Serdinšek made a huge save. Julij Burnić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Damiano Serdinšek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lendavske gorice's Damiano Serdinšek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julij Burnić in the 46th minute of play. The Prebold NK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lendavske gorice were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andželin Vene to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Prebold NK booed when Lendavske gorice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Povše didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Lendavske gorice defense, Roberto Kašibović kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damiano Serdinšek. The Lendavske gorice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damiano Serdinšek should have stopped the shot. If Julij Burnić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Roberto Kašibović cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Damiano Serdinšek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julij Burnić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Lendavske gorice's Andželin Vene slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ferid Šoster. That made the score 2-2 after 68 minutes of play. Ferid Šoster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andželin Vene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes, Julij Burnić made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lendavske gorice's Damiano Serdinšek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Damiano Serdinšek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julij Burnić in the 90th minute of play. Prebold NK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lendavske gorice for a fine match.
