Spectators: 7697 (Terracing: 5891, Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) Sveti Andraž v Slov. Goricah's Slaviša Honzak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Slaviša Honzak in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florijan Hočevar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dejan Mihalič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franjo Debeljak, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the NK Olimpija defense, Slaviša Honzak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florijan Hočevar. The NK Olimpija fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florijan Hočevar should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sveti Andraž v Slov. Goricah's goalkeeper Dejan Mihalič, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jonas Rihtar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Dejan Mihalič skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Franjo Debeljak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes, NK Olimpija's Aleks Omahen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dejan Mihalič came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in NK Olimpija reached it. Kazimir Pelcl charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kazimir Pelcl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sveti Andraž v Slov. Goricah's Kazimir Pelcl got a free kick in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, NK Olimpija's Karol Okoren broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 30 minutes, Dejan Dobrišek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sveti Andraž v Slov. Goricah and the NK Olimpija players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes Sveti Andraž v Slov. Goricah got a freekick which was hit by Dejan Dobrišek. Franjo Debeljak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Sveti Andraž v Slov. Goricah's Dejan Mihalič got control of the ball when Jonas Rihtar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deny Šibau during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, NK Olimpija's Deny Šibau got a free kick in the 38th minute. Jonas Rihtar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dejan Mihalič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Florijan Hočevar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Slaviša Honzak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in NK Olimpija's zone, Kazimir Pelcl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florijan Hočevar came out of the goal and Kazimir Pelcl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franjo Debeljak struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dejan Mihalič didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Olimpija. Franjo Debeljak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Sveti Andraž v Slov. Goricah were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant NK Olimpija side.
