Spectators: 6785 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1785, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vito Rudolf kicked off to start the match. Loški potok's Ibrahim Pikl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jugoslav Verhovšek in the 3rd minute of play. Hotimir Vrečko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vito Rudolf, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 17 played minutes Miren-Kostanjevica NK got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Černe. With a little luck, Miren-Kostanjevica NK's Hotimir Vrečko got control of the ball when Manfred Doljac tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hotimir Vrečko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Rudolf's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Miren-Kostanjevica NK's zone, Vito Rudolf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hotimir Vrečko came out of the goal and Vito Rudolf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 32 minutes into the match, Drejc Černač notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Loški potok's Ibrahim Pikl. Ibrahim Pikl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jugoslav Verhovšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 44 minutes, Jugoslav Verhovšek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miren-Kostanjevica NK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jugoslav Verhovšek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Loški potok players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Miren-Kostanjevica NK were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Drejc Černač to make the kick off. Drejc Černač received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ibrahim Pikl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manfred Doljac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Vito Rudolf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hotimir Vrečko was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Vito Rudolf struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hotimir Vrečko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loški potok. After a rather tough play, Miren-Kostanjevica NK's Jugoslav Verhovšek got a free kick in the 71st minute. Hotimir Vrečko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Rudolf in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Rudolf in the 80th minute of play forced Miren-Kostanjevica NK's goalkeeper Hotimir Vrečko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manfred Doljac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86thth minute of the game Manfred Doljac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miren-Kostanjevica NK's Hotimir Vrečko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Drejc Černač received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ibrahim Pikl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Drejc Černač took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Ibrahim Pikl to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Miren-Kostanjevica NK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
