Nelson Bukovec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mavricij Krebelj in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Dobrova-Polhov gradec's goal looked a bit too open when Ožbolt Grobelšek came free, but Nelson Bukovec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Bukovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ožbolt Grobelšek in the 10th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Ožbolt Grobelšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Bukovec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ožbolt Grobelšek came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Boštanj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ožbolt Grobelšek couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasmin Badić got free with Nelson Bukovec in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Dobrova-Polhov gradec's goalkeeper Nelson Bukovec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mavricij Krebelj. Ožbolt Grobelšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Boštanj booed when Dobrova-Polhov gradec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonz Damijan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ožbolt Grobelšek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Dobrova-Polhov gradec getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Michel Štrumbelj hit a great ball. Hrvoje Kohne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciz Vuksanović in the 34th minute of play. When Ožbolt Grobelšek came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Boštanj fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ožbolt Grobelšek couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ožbolt Grobelšek in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Bukovec saved Dobrova-Polhov gradec from getting behind. Nelson Bukovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ožbolt Grobelšek in the 42nd minute of the match. Michel Štrumbelj hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Boštanj's Jaka Rojc broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciz Vuksanović was the one to do the kick off. Nelson Bukovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jasmin Badić in the 51st minute of the match. Dobrova-Polhov gradec's Nelson Bukovec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ožbolt Grobelšek in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Mavricij Krebelj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mavricij Krebelj fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Bukovec having to interfere. A collision led to Dobrova-Polhov gradec getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Pavle Šetrajčič hit a great ball. If Ožbolt Grobelšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nelfi Jager fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dobrova-Polhov gradec's protests and gave Nelfi Jager a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd minute Ožbolt Grobelšek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Bukovec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Narciz Vuksanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branislav Sluga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hrvoje Kohne firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 95th minute, Branislav Sluga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ožbolt Grobelšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Bukovec having to interfere. Boštanj walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
