Branislav Sluga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Branivoj Lukeš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th match minute, Kranjska gora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marjan Erjavec to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th minute, Narciz Vuksanović made a precise shot to the right of Branivoj Lukeš. Kranjska gora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Narciz Vuksanović might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Branivoj Lukeš. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciz Vuksanović ran back to his position shaking his head. Anej Platiše struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Nelson Bukovec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kranjska gora. A collision led to Dobrova-Polhov gradec getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Pavle Šetrajčič hit a great ball. Nelson Bukovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anej Platiše in the 14th minute of the match. Tonček Karaibrahimović might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelson Bukovec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tonček Karaibrahimović ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciz Vuksanović in the 21st minute of play forced Kranjska gora's goalkeeper Branivoj Lukeš to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tonček Karaibrahimović succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 25th playminute. After 31 played minutes Dobrova-Polhov gradec got a freekick which was hit by Damijan Učakar. A long shot from Slovenko Jakič in the 32nd minute of play was well struck, but Nelson Bukovec made a really good save at the right post. If Branislav Sluga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dobrova-Polhov gradec's Nelson Bukovec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Dobrova-Polhov gradec from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Tonček Karaibrahimović dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nelson Bukovec, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciz Vuksanović made a kick off. The corner led to Dobrova-Polhov gradec's Darjo Pavšek getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Branislav Sluga got free with Branivoj Lukeš in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelson Bukovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonček Karaibrahimović in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anej Platiše in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Bukovec saved Dobrova-Polhov gradec from getting behind. Narciz Vuksanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Branivoj Lukeš having to interfere. Branivoj Lukeš made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Branislav Sluga sent off a good shot on target. In the 89thth minute of the game Narciz Vuksanović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kranjska gora's Branivoj Lukeš was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tonček Karaibrahimović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Bukovec having to interfere. If Branislav Sluga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Anej Platiše came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Kranjska gora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anej Platiše couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kranjska gora fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dobrova-Polhov gradec had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
