Milutin Lukan charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Christian Jančar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krsta Eberl in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Železniki MNK's Meta Piškur ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Demis Sorec. Demis Sorec yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Meta Piškur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Krsta Eberl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Jančar was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After 74 played minutes Železniki MNK got a freekick which was hit by Vitomir Padjen. In the 79thth minute of the game Krsta Eberl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Železniki MNK's Christian Jančar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nino Karničar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The coaching staff of Železniki MNK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Julij Mihalič had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of Železniki MNK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Škofja Loka:s goal. Nino Karničar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demis Sorec having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Železniki MNK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
