The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stevo Jakolič showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mino Derčaj in the 17th minute of play forced FC Barcelona Moravče's goalkeeper Stevo Jakolič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 21st minute of the match Jadranko Stražiščar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jadranko Stražiščar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 22nd minute, Jadranko Stražiščar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stevo Jakolič showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mino Derčaj, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Robi Kropivšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevo Jakolič having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona Moravče's goal looked a bit too open when Robi Kropivšek came free, but Stevo Jakolič reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Robi Kropivšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robi Kropivšek in the 45th minute of play forced FC Barcelona Moravče's goalkeeper Stevo Jakolič to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Nijaz Koprivnik made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Đino Škoflek during the 58th minute. Anton Ogrinc charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Ogrinc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anton Ogrinc kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Niki Drolc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mino Derčaj was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Robi Kropivšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mino Derčaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When FC Barcelona Moravče's Nijaz Koprivnik in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 91st minute Mino Derčaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevo Jakolič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
