Ig ND's Maurizio Verdev shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Din Kremenović but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Kelher during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Julijan Trivković sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Primož Vasle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primož Vasle got free with Din Kremenović in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Julijan Trivković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalbert Vurkeljc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Jemeršić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavle Buček struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Adalbert Vurkeljc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Izola. Amedeo Grum's late challenge caught a Izola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adalbert Vurkeljc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrijan Ružič in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primož Vasle in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Din Kremenović saved Izola from getting behind.
