Spectators: 6788 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1788, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bogo Žnidar kicked off to start the match. Kristian Ferjan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogo Žnidar in the 5th minute of play. Dragoslav Tehovnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Din Reš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bogo Žnidar in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristian Ferjan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Škofljica's Gabriel Suljkanović got a free kick in the 14th minute. Filip Porčić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Ferjan having to interfere. Emilijano Strnad kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Bogo Žnidar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Škofljica's Kristian Ferjan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogo Žnidar in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Dragoslav Tehovnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edin Budal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Din Reš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edin Budal having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Semič's Bogo Žnidar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristian Ferjan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 41st minute Žani Lepej shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Ferjan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Semič defense, Din Reš kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edin Budal. The Semič fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edin Budal should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dragoslav Tehovnik made a kick off. Edin Budal came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Škofljica's Emilijano Strnad. But to his dismay, Emilijano Strnad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 59th minute, Žani Lepej hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Semič was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Purgar to maneuver through the defense. Škofljica's Dragoslav Tehovnik got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gino Purgar's late challenge caught a Škofljica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gino Purgar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th match minute, Semič was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gino Purgar to maneuver through the defense. Bogo Žnidar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edin Budal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Filip Porčić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th match minute, Škofljica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilijano Strnad to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Škofljica's goalkeeper Kristian Ferjan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Semič booed when Škofljica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inot Car didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edin Budal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Din Reš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edin Budal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoslav Tehovnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Škofljica's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
