Mitar Strasner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aljoša Franko in the 14th minute of play. Bo Chamberlain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đerat Arnšek, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jusuf Cvahte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Chamberlain having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Đerat Arnšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bo Chamberlain was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Nejc Pečnik's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Mitar Strasner skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nejc Pečnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Mitar Strasner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mitar Strasner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aljoša Franko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aljoša Franko was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Aljoša Franko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ANIMATORS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Loški potok booed when FC ANIMATORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sašo Ferizović didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jusuf Cvahte came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Loški potok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jusuf Cvahte couldn't finish the play. Mitar Strasner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nejc Pečnik's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 65 played minutes FC ANIMATORS got a freekick which was hit by Sašo Ferizović. Đerat Arnšek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Chamberlain having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, FC ANIMATORS's Sonny Rudkvist broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Loški potok's goalkeeper Mitar Strasner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Boštjan Čretnik charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boštjan Čretnik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aljoša Franko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Aljoša Franko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Đerat Arnšek struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bo Chamberlain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loški potok. Sašo Ferizović kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Đerat Arnšek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bo Chamberlain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Nejc Pečnik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FC ANIMATORS players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
