Ribnica MNK's Dane Modic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Ribnica MNK from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lado Bogomolec made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Braslovče's Lado Bogomolec made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dane Modic was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desan Klar in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dane Modic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ribnica MNK's zone, Desan Klar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dane Modic came out of the goal and Desan Klar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Lado Bogomolec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Braslovče's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lado Bogomolec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ribnica MNK's Dane Modic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desan Klar in the 90th minute of play. Lado Bogomolec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Desan Klar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dane Modic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Desan Klar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Braslovče were the better team. Braslovče's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
