Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Devin Urbanc got the match started through his kick off. Lado Bogomolec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Vrbinc having to interfere. Iztok Markan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Štefko Lukanović skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Desan Klar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes Šmartno ob Paki got a freekick which was hit by Devin Urbanc. After 12 minutes of play, Šmartno ob Paki's Iztok Markan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Štefko Lukanović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Vrbinc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desan Klar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desan Klar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Vrbinc having to interfere. When Gracijano Birsa fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Šmartno ob Paki's protests and gave Gracijano Birsa a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Vrbinc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lado Bogomolec in the 31st minute of play. If Devin Urbanc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iztok Markan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Šmartno ob Paki's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Iztok Markan in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Štefko Lukanović, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Lado Bogomolec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Iztok Markan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lado Bogomolec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Vrbinc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Devin Urbanc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braslovče's Štefko Lukanović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Desan Klar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Braslovče's supporters rose to their feet, but Desan Klar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Vrbinc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kris Andrin kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Desan Klar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jonathan Vrbinc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desan Klar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jonathan Vrbinc made a huge save. After some careless play in the Šmartno ob Paki defense, Lado Bogomolec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Vrbinc. The Šmartno ob Paki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Vrbinc should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Vrbinc made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desan Klar in the 80th minute. Lado Bogomolec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Devin Urbanc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Štefko Lukanović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Braslovče was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Seliškar to maneuver through the defense. After 91 minutes, Iztok Markan made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Braslovče's Štefko Lukanović tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 97th minute Lado Bogomolec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Vrbinc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Šmartno ob Paki's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
