When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomi Krebelj made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Đevat Satler in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tibor Iglič prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Slovenska Bistrica FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Adem Pere hit a great ball. Ljutomer's Adi Matijaš couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 55th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Slovenska Bistrica FC. Slovenska Bistrica FC's Tibor Iglič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Slovenska Bistrica FC from getting a goal against them. In the 70th minute, Slovenska Bistrica FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rastko Renko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Slovenska Bistrica FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ljutomer had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
