Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Matic Breskvar got the match started through his kick off. Matic Breskvar struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Maxi Kenda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kranj. In the 10th minute, Gilbert Batis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kranj's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rade Šilar was slow to take the kick. During this time Cerkvenjak's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Cerkvenjak's Rade Šilar to fire away a dangerous shot which Joško Niculović despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Kranj's Matic Breskvar got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joško Niculović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Habbe in the 19th minute of play. When Aljaž Starec fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kranj's protests and gave Aljaž Starec a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kranj getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Aljaž Starec hit a great ball. Cerkvenjak's Franz Habbe got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Živan Premk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Matic Breskvar sped through Cerkvenjak's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maxi Kenda. 39 minutes into the match, Cerkvenjak's goal looked a bit too open when Matic Breskvar came free, but Maxi Kenda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Živan Premk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Živan Premk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franz Habbe was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes in the game, Živan Premk fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Maxi Kenda having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Kranj's Maxi Kenda threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matic Breskvar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tihomir Mihić kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Matic Breskvar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 62nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 66 minutes into the match, Cerkvenjak's goalkeeper Maxi Kenda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Živan Premk. Maxi Kenda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Živan Premk in the 70th minute. In the 75th match minute, Kranj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Batis to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Kranj's Živan Premk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxi Kenda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Živan Premk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cerkvenjak fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kranj were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
