The Medvode NK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Skofja Loka MNK's Slaviša Vlachy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blaško Zabovnik in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Klaudijo Kuplenk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skofja Loka MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Klaudijo Kuplenk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Skofja Loka MNK's goal looked a bit too open when Blaško Zabovnik came free, but Slaviša Vlachy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Blaško Zabovnik elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
