Odon Rauter stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hektor Seunig's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Herman Majcen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rok Križan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klaudio Bogataj took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herman Majcen. Vrtojba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Rok Križan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vrtojba's Herman Majcen. Herman Majcen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hektor Seunig was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Vrtojba booed when Bistrica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvan Lukič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hektor Seunig scored 1-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Odon Rauter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rok Križan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herman Majcen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jelenko Drevenšek went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Jelenko Drevenšek kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Odon Rauter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rian Vučić in the 76th minute of play. When Jelenko Drevenšek fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bistrica's protests and gave Jelenko Drevenšek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bistrica getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Jelenko Drevenšek hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Kristjan Svet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odon Rauter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Odon Rauter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rian Vučić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hektor Seunig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Odon Rauter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bistrica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
