Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ožbe Kikelj recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Majšperk! When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Šalovci's Srečko Podbrežnik got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jugoslav Žlebnik. After a rather tough play, Šalovci's Zdenko Kompare got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renato Doblehar in the 10th minute of play forced Šalovci's goalkeeper Vasjo Šarić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jugoslav Žlebnik was a little too slow when Anto Verovšek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 2-0. Anto Verovšek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jugoslav Žlebnik having to make a save. 21 minutes into the match, Šalovci's Anto Verovšek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jugoslav Žlebnik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Grozdan Serdinšek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Majšperk's zone, Anto Verovšek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jugoslav Žlebnik came out of the goal and Anto Verovšek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Anto Verovšek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Šalovci's Ožbe Kikelj fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Majšperk's goalkeeper Jugoslav Žlebnik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ožbe Kikelj. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After 54 minutes of play, Šalovci's Anto Verovšek made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jugoslav Žlebnik was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anto Verovšek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jugoslav Žlebnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anto Verovšek in the 66th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Ožbe Kikelj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jugoslav Žlebnik. Majšperk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ožbe Kikelj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Vasjo Šarić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bujar Jakolič went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 80 minutes, Jožek Zdouc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Majšperk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jožek Zdouc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Jožek Zdouc notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Šalovci's Vasjo Šarić. Vasjo Šarić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jugoslav Žlebnik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anto Verovšek in the 89th minute of play. Anto Verovšek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ožbe Kikelj struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Jugoslav Žlebnik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Šalovci. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Šalovci fully deserved thier win.
