Spectators: 6793 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 0) Kuzma's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Jean Sekirnik scored to the left of an out of position Meti Šimnovec, making the score, 1-0. Meti Šimnovec didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Hubert Rot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Srečo Schottler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meti Šimnovec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Kuzma's goalkeeper Meti Šimnovec had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hubert Rot. In the 27th minute Merlin Majstorović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damjan Janič saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Podčetrtek MNK's Damjan Janič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Črtomir Kadič in the 31st minute of play. Srečo Schottler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Meti Šimnovec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Meti Šimnovec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Srečo Schottler, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Merlin Majstorović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Damjan Janič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Črtomir Kadič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damjan Janič having to interfere. When Jean Sekirnik fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Podčetrtek MNK's protests and gave Jean Sekirnik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kuzma booed when Podčetrtek MNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Sekirnik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Merlin Majstorović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Damjan Janič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Črtomir Kadič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Srečo Schottler made the kick off in the second half. Merlin Majstorović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Damjan Janič made a huge save. Srečo Schottler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meti Šimnovec having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kuzma's zone, Hubert Rot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Meti Šimnovec came out of the goal and Hubert Rot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Merlin Majstorović left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kuzma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Podčetrtek MNK's Damjan Janič proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Podčetrtek MNK from getting a goal against them. Damjan Janič made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Merlin Majstorović sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 68 minutes, Hubert Rot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Podčetrtek MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hubert Rot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Hubert Rot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meti Šimnovec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubert Rot in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meti Šimnovec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jovo Suhadolc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Damjan Janič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Podčetrtek MNK's Hubert Rot got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Podčetrtek MNK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kuzma had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
