Dragiša Osenjak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Advan Plestenjak having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Ožbej Naglič put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Azis Gostiša. Azis Gostiša showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argio Bedenik, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Adriano Vihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ožbej Naglič came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Dobrovnik MNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ožbej Naglič couldn't finish the play. In the 46th match minute, Gorenja Vas-Poljane NK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rado Žgalin to maneuver through the defense. The Gorenja Vas-Poljane NK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dobrovnik MNK were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dragiša Osenjak made a kick off. Dobrovnik MNK's Argio Bedenik got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ožbej Naglič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the game, Ožbej Naglič lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Azis Gostiša. Ožbej Naglič was extremely unlucky when he, in the 70th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Dobrovnik MNK getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Claudio Pečjak hit a great ball. Azis Gostiša showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ožbej Naglič in the 75th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes, Dobrovnik MNK's Brin Ilešič shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Azis Gostiša came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dobrovnik MNK reached it. Argio Bedenik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teo Domicelj charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teo Domicelj the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gorenja Vas-Poljane NK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Teo Domicelj hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, Gorenja Vas-Poljane NK's goalkeeper Azis Gostiša had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Argio Bedenik. In the 85th minute Adriano Vihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Advan Plestenjak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argio Bedenik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Azis Gostiša tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Argio Bedenik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argio Bedenik in the 100thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Azis Gostiša, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
