If Julijan Pogačar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Bogomil Krapež got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Real Sostro CF's Ardenko Valenčič played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tino Lipovšek in the 32nd minute of play. Miklavž Cerar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Zlatko Šubelj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Adis Nedižavec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Real Sostro CF's Zlatko Šubelj got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Bogomil Krapež made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th match minute, Real Sostro CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatko Šubelj to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes, Adem Čelebić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kobarid FC and the Real Sostro CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Tino Lipovšek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ardenko Valenčič was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Zlatko Šubelj scored 0-1 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adis Nedižavec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Kobarid FC fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Kobarid FC's Tino Lipovšek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kobarid FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Real Sostro CF had controlled the match.
