Maj Mežek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Timotej Štrajhar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadij Velepec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, NK Debenec's Domen Kuster got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Gvido Marinček came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the nk Genterovci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gvido Marinček couldn't finish the play. Gvido Marinček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotej Štrajhar having to interfere. Domen Kuster kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to nk Genterovci getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tadij Velepec hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Tadij Velepec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timotej Štrajhar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in nk Genterovci's zone, Janko Kerpan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joško Veber came out of the goal and Janko Kerpan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 44th minute, Dražan Belšak fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 47th minute, Domen Kuster got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

58 minutes into the match, nk Genterovci's Mario Luštrik broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 61 minutes of play, NK Debenec's Janko Kerpan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joško Veber was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domen Kuster kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Gvido Marinček got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadij Velepec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timotej Štrajhar having to interfere. If Gvido Marinček had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timotej Štrajhar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadij Velepec in the 79th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadij Velepec in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timotej Štrajhar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82ndth minute of the game Tadij Velepec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Debenec's Timotej Štrajhar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. NK Debenec's Timotej Štrajhar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save NK Debenec from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadij Velepec in the 86th minute of play forced NK Debenec's goalkeeper Timotej Štrajhar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gvido Marinček did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Timotej Štrajhar 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Janko Kerpan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joško Veber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, nk Genterovci's Ilmin Osolnik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timotej Štrajhar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, nk Genterovci's Mario Luštrik tried to score from far away in the 100th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
