The tension between the Kobarid FC and the Šenčur NK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Kobarid FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Izudin Koler to maneuver through the defense. Julijan Pogačar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blagoje Černjak having to interfere. Tonček Ocepek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adis Nedižavec having to interfere. Adis Nedižavec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ožbe Ahčin in the 22nd minute of the match. Tonček Ocepek scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adis Nedižavec, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ožbe Ahčin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kobarid FC's Adis Nedižavec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ožbe Ahčin in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 60 played minutes Kobarid FC got a freekick which was hit by Adem Čelebić. Tonček Ocepek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ožbe Ahčin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Adis Nedižavec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miklavž Cerar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Šenčur NK's Andrej Gradišar got a free kick in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ožbe Ahčin in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adis Nedižavec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adem Čelebić during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adem Čelebić kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Šenčur NK players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
