Spectators: 8030 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1869, VIP seats: 161) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brecht Tombeurs started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in nk Genterovci's zone, Arnel Stonič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joško Veber came out of the goal and Arnel Stonič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 13 minutes, Arnel Stonič made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. nk Genterovci's Joško Veber tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joško Veber didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 19th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Brecht Tombeurs took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Joško Veber to make any attempt to save it. Šempeter GF's 柯默明 managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Matej Skornšek in the 25 minute of the game. Šempeter GF's Almin Knific played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadij Velepec in the 27th minute of play. Arnel Stonič who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Joško Veber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 30th minute, Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. After 34 played minutes Šempeter GF got a freekick which was hit by Blagoje Čižman. Brecht Tombeurs struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Joško Veber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Šempeter GF. 41 minutes into the match, Arnel Stonič dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joško Veber, 6-0. Arnel Stonič's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Joško Veber skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadij Velepec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Brecht Tombeurs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Šempeter GF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Joško Veber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnel Stonič, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Perpar during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Šempeter GF's Danilo Perpar got a free kick in the 70th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Šempeter GF's Brecht Tombeurs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joško Veber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. Arnel Stonič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joško Veber having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in nk Genterovci fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Šempeter GF. Milovan Žak stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joško Veber. 10-0. After 87 minutes of play, Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič made it 11-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joško Veber was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Šempeter GF booed when nk Genterovci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adi Razpet didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes nk Genterovci got a freekick which was hit by Maj Mežek. Brecht Tombeurs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Joško Veber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Šempeter GF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
