When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Arnel Stonič sped through Kobarid FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adis Nedižavec. In the 24th minute, Arnel Stonič made a precise shot to the right of Adis Nedižavec. Kobarid FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Brecht Tombeurs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adis Nedižavec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Arnel Stonič succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 30th playminute. Brecht Tombeurs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adis Nedižavec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Brecht Tombeurs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 42 minutes, Arnel Stonič managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Šempeter GF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnel Stonič was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Šempeter GF's 柯默明 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emiljan Urbanič, made in the 44th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tino Lipovšek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Šempeter GF fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Brecht Tombeurs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Arnel Stonič notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Kobarid FC's Adis Nedižavec. Adis Nedižavec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adis Nedižavec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brecht Tombeurs in the 65th minute of the match. When Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 77th minute Arnel Stonič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adis Nedižavec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jadran Prelog during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Kobarid FC got a freekick which was hit by Jadran Prelog. After 79 played minutes, Šempeter GF's Milovan Žak shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adis Nedižavec came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Šempeter GF reached it. When Šempeter GF's Arnel Stonič in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kobarid FC's Adis Nedižavec tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Brecht Tombeurs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Šempeter GF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
