If Emiljan Berdavs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. NK Krka's Ira Pozne got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown Bears's goalkeeper Damiano Pejčić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Petko Kajtna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tonček Camlek went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sali Knez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damiano Pejčić had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Ira Pozne from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 33rd minute, Silvan Dečman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 played minutes Brown Bears got a freekick which was hit by Sali Knez. Ira Pozne struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Damiano Pejčić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Krka. Damiano Pejčić was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Emiljan Berdavs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emiljan Berdavs really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonček Camlek in the 46th minute of play forced NK Krka's goalkeeper Petko Kajtna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petko Kajtna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sali Knez in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ira Pozne made a kick off. Brown Bears's Tonček Camlek got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Sali Knez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tonček Camlek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Petko Kajtna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ira Pozne might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damiano Pejčić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ira Pozne ran back to his position shaking his head. Tonček Camlek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petko Kajtna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Sali Knez struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Petko Kajtna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brown Bears. Brown Bears's Damiano Pejčić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiljan Berdavs in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 86 minutes, Sali Knez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brown Bears's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sali Knez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 played minutes NK Krka got a freekick which was hit by Argio Vukićević. The audience was convinced that Sali Knez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petko Kajtna was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. With his leg Petko Kajtna managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when Brown Bears's Tonček Camlek fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The NK Krka players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
