Moreno Žebovec started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Tišina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristjan Veber to maneuver through the defense. Baldomir Rutnik, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After some careless play in the Tišina defense, Moreno Žebovec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paskal Pregrad. The Tišina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paskal Pregrad should have stopped the shot. Tišina's Vedran Oplotnik got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vedran Oplotnik struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Merlin Kaplan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tišina. In the 17th minute of the match Aleksij Krznar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Merlin Kaplan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Bad Blue Boys's goalkeeper Merlin Kaplan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vedran Oplotnik. If Ismet Greiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bad Blue Boys getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Albis Grebenc hit a great ball. Bad Blue Boys's Merlin Kaplan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvedin Križman in the 30th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Tišina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramo Letonja to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match Bad Blue Boys got a corner. Tišina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baldomir Rutnik ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Baldomir Rutnik almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tišina's Paskal Pregrad did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moreno Žebovec in the 42nd minute of play forced Tišina's goalkeeper Paskal Pregrad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ismet Greiser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvedin Križman was the one to do the kick off. Merlin Kaplan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vedran Oplotnik in the 55th minute of the match. Moreno Žebovec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Tišina's Paskal Pregrad got control of the ball when Ismet Greiser tried to sneak it across the goal line. Moreno Žebovec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paskal Pregrad having to interfere. Paskal Pregrad made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismet Greiser in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bad Blue Boys's zone, Vedran Oplotnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merlin Kaplan came out of the goal and Vedran Oplotnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Tišina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bad Blue Boys's performance. The match ended with a win for Bad Blue Boys.
