The referee showed Leon Svet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leon Svet hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Leon Svet kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Miha Uranjek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmedalija Podobnik having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Miha Uranjek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Mehmedalija Podobnik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Miha Uranjek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adriano Bržan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmedalija Podobnik having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Šempeter pri Gorici FC got a freekick which was hit by Svetislav Tanšek. Miha Uranjek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Mehmedalija Podobnik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leon Svet was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Miha Uranjek took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmedalija Podobnik. Mehmedalija Podobnik dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Klodian Bažec hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ecij Drolc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Kugler in the 38th minute of the match. Sebastian Kugler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ecij Drolc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Haloze's goalkeeper Ecij Drolc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Miha Uranjek fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mehmedalija Podobnik, passed just outside the right post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Kugler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miha Uranjek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sebastian Kugler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ecij Drolc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmedalija Podobnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miha Uranjek, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Šempeter pri Gorici FC's Mehmedalija Podobnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miha Uranjek in the 60th minute of play. Ecij Drolc was a little too slow when Sebastian Kugler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-1. After having played for 70 minutes, Sebastian Kugler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Šempeter pri Gorici FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Kugler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, NK Haloze's Jošt Zajšek got a free kick in the 71st minute. If Sebastian Kugler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Demeter Pavlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecij Drolc made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Sebastian Kugler sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st match minute, NK Haloze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarik Trnovšek to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Sebastian Kugler got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ljudevit Rebec kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Ljudevit Rebec fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK Haloze's protests and gave Ljudevit Rebec a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NK Haloze getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ljudevit Rebec hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. NK Haloze had won after a very even match.
