Spectators: 8166 (Terracing: 6126, Seating: 1878, VIP seats: 162) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Albin Kolar made the kick off which started today's match. Vane Poteko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Albin Kolar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Boyan Franko. The goal made the score 1-0. Ante Tepe came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by NK Dovže's Nino Jotanović. But to his dismay, Nino Jotanović quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ante Tepe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Štefko Birsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Tabor's Tjaž Kozmus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tjaž Kozmus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tabor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tjaž Kozmus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for NK Dovže. Theodor Puhar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ante Tepe. 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, Tabor's goal looked a bit too open when Štefko Birsa came free, but Ante Tepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonid Justin struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ante Tepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Dovže. In the 27th minute, Vane Poteko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Štefko Birsa charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Štefko Birsa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tabor's Hektor Doljac was substituted for Luban Obolnar. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Boyan Franko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute Nino Jotanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ante Tepe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Žiga Modic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tabor getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marcel Jančar hit a great ball. Gianni Popovič kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After the first half NK Dovže were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nino Jotanović made a kick off. Ante Tepe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nino Jotanović in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th match minute, NK Dovže was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gianni Popovič to maneuver through the defense. If Vane Poteko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Tabor's Hektor Doljac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boyan Franko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Ante Tepe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonid Justin in the 68th minute. Vane Poteko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vane Poteko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vane Poteko blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boyan Franko having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Tabor's Albin Kolar got a free kick in the 74th minute. Vane Poteko took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boyan Franko. Boyan Franko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. With a little luck, Tabor's Ante Tepe got control of the ball when Leonid Justin tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Tabor booed when NK Dovže was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Štefko Birsa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jurica Brus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyan Franko having to interfere. Vane Poteko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyan Franko having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, NK Dovže's goal looked a bit too open when Vane Poteko came free, but Boyan Franko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Tabor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
