After a rather tough play, NK Ritoznoj's Vladko Tihel got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Said Marjanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alen Jakolič tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Said Marjanović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to NK Ritoznoj getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Said Marjanović hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Borut Kraškovic's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alen Jakolič was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 18 minutes of play, Brezovica's Azis Špurej made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. If Azis Špurej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Ritoznoj's goalkeeper Vanja Drakul, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Kruno Sternad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 played minutes, Brezovica's Darej Pavčič shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vanja Drakul came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brezovica reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Said Marjanović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Azis Špurej's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vanja Drakul read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Kruno Sternad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Vanja Drakul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 67 minutes, Azis Špurej managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brezovica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azis Špurej was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Azis Špurej in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vanja Drakul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Azis Špurej in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vanja Drakul saved NK Ritoznoj from getting behind. Borut Kraškovics short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Alen Jakolič to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Borut Kraškovic got free with Alen Jakolič in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vladko Tihel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valter Pintarič kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The Brezovica fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Brezovica's Kruno Sternad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 96 minutes, Azis Špurej managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brezovica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Azis Špurej was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
