NK Dovže's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Said Marjanović 6 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. In the 8th match minute, NK Ritoznoj was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladko Tihel to maneuver through the defense. Vanja Drakul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nino Jotanović, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Boyan Franko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Said Marjanović in the 15th minute of play. After 15 played minutes NK Dovže got a freekick which was hit by Štefko Birsa. A hard shot 17 in the game by Borut Kraškovic from a close distance when the talented Boyan Franko managed to make a qualified save. NK Dovže's players were relieved. Nino Jotanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vanja Drakul having to interfere. Daš Strojnik hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Rene Vevcar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Ritoznoj's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rene Vevcar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vanja Drakul stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nino Jotanović's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Tian Kmetec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, NK Dovže was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Šubelj to maneuver through the defense. Nino Jotanović struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Vanja Drakul didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Dovže. Vanja Drakul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tian Kmetec, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

59 minutes into the match, NK Ritoznoj's goalkeeper Vanja Drakul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nino Jotanović. In the 65th minute Tian Kmetec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vanja Drakul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tian Kmetec in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vanja Drakul saved NK Ritoznoj from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tian Kmetec in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vanja Drakul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Borut Kraškovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to NK Ritoznoj getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Said Marjanović hit a great ball. Nino Jotanović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nino Jotanović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vanja Drakul having to interfere. NK Dovže's Tian Kmetec got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, NK Ritoznoj's Rene Vevcar got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tian Kmetec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vanja Drakul having to interfere. NK Ritoznoj were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of NK Dovže for a fine match.
