Spectators: 7906 (Terracing: 6001, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 30) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Omar Požeg started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Požeg in the 3rd minute of play forced Proles Trniče's goalkeeper Mergim Ban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Proles Trniče was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dejvid Černilec to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saško Udrih in the 8th minute of play forced Proles Trniče's goalkeeper Mergim Ban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mergim Ban came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerkno MNK's Saško Udrih. But to his dismay, Saško Udrih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 12 minutes, Polde Vidic mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Proles Trniče and the Cerkno MNK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valter Randl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Mergim Ban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saško Udrih in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mergim Ban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Proles Trniče's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Valter Randl scored to the left of an out of position Mergim Ban, making the score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Požeg in the 24th minute of play forced Proles Trniče's goalkeeper Mergim Ban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Krempl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestin Slak in the 27th minute of play. Cerkno MNK's Saško Udrih was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Proles Trniče booed when Cerkno MNK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boyan Habič didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Krempl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polde Vidic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boyan Habič hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Proles Trniče's Stanislav Račečič tried to score from far away in the 36th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Saško Udrih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mergim Ban was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 47 minutes into the match, Cerkno MNK's goal looked a bit too open when Celestin Slak came free, but Lorenzo Krempl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Narayan Gavez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mergim Ban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Požeg in the 51st minute of the match. Mergim Ban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avgust Krmelj, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Omar Požeg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerkno MNK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Omar Požeg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valter Randl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mergim Ban having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Saško Udrih managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cerkno MNK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saško Udrih was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Požeg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mergim Ban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Krsta Hvala went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Mergim Ban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krsta Hvala in the 80th minute of the match. Saško Udrih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mergim Ban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Proles Trniče's Mergim Ban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Požeg in the 85th minute of play. Mergim Ban came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerkno MNK's Saško Udrih. But to his dismay, Saško Udrih quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Omar Požeg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the match, Cerkno MNK's Krsta Hvala sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mergim Ban narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, Cerkno MNK's Krsta Hvala made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mergim Ban was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cerkno MNK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
