Cerkno MNK's Lorenzo Krempl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilijano Špehar in the 11th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Omar Požeg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harnis Potrebuješ was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Lorenzo Krempl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 24th minute Jošt Vinkovič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Krempl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Požeg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harnis Potrebuješ having to make a save. In the 33rdth minute of the game Saško Udrih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Destroyers's Harnis Potrebuješ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krsta Hvala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harnis Potrebuješ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. If Saško Udrih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Krsta Hvala dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Harnis Potrebuješ, 2-1. Harnis Potrebuješ breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harnis Potrebuješ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Randl in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Harnis Potrebuješ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Požeg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Set Kronvogel in the 56th minute of play forced Cerkno MNK's goalkeeper Lorenzo Krempl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerkno MNK's Lorenzo Krempl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Cerkno MNK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in NK Destroyers's zone, Andrej Stipanič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harnis Potrebuješ came out of the goal and Andrej Stipanič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saško Udrih might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harnis Potrebuješ. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saško Udrih ran back to his position shaking his head. Omar Požeg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Požeg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Harnis Potrebuješ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 85 minutes, Saško Udrih made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. The crowd rose to their feet as NK Destroyers's Set Kronvogel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lorenzo Krempl. That made the score 3-2 after 92 minutes of play.
