Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ecij Mihalek took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Will Gates sped through NK Kočevje's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zorko Andrić. After a rather tough play, NK Kočevje's Grega Majstorović got a free kick in the 8th minute. Dimitris Papadopulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ecij Mihalek in the 13th minute of play. Will Gates received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zorko Andrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute Dennis Beškovnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorko Andrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Hodoš's Will Gates in 26 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Zorko Andrić guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Will Gates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zorko Andrić having to interfere. In the 33rdth minute of the game Will Gates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Čedomir Birk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NK Kočevje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hodoš the free kick. In the 34th minute, Čedomir Birk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 37 minutes of play, Hodoš's Will Gates made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zorko Andrić was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 39th minute, Dennis Beškovnik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gliša Šalamun kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Zorko Andrić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Will Gates's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Hodoš were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Hodoš's Will Gates dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Will Gates struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Zorko Andrić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hodoš. Will Gatess short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Zorko Andrić to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 60thth minute of the game Will Gates who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, NK Kočevje's goalkeeper Zorko Andrić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Gates. 64 minutes into the game, Dennis Beškovnik recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zorko Andrić. Dennis Beškovnik showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. 67 minutes into the match, Will Gates notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić. Zorko Andrić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Beškovnik in the 71st minute of play forced NK Kočevje's goalkeeper Zorko Andrić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Will Gates's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zorko Andrić firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 77th minute Dennis Beškovnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorko Andrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavoljub Komel kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hodoš's Peter Saksida got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Hodoš's goal looked a bit too open when Sanel Hovnik came free, but Dimitris Papadopulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zorko Andrić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Džan Verdev in the 89th minute. If Dennis Beškovnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute Džan Verdev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zorko Andrić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Gliša Šalamun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Hodoš could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NK Kočevje throughout the match.
