Spectators: 8523 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Milan AvguÅ¡tin started the match with the kick off. After 8 minutes of play, Pesnica NK's Borislav Novak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the match, Trebnje NK's Saša Ajdič sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aldin ReÅ¡ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valen Vitez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute, Borislav Novak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes Pesnica NK got a freekick which was hit by Valen Vitez. After 21 played minutes, Trebnje NK's Maksimiljan Pavalec shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aldin ReÅ¡ came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trebnje NK reached it. After 26 played minutes Pesnica NK got a freekick which was hit by Simbad Trpin. If Stevan Metzkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aldin ReÅ¡ was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Blagoje Popivoda showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. Stevan Metzkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardinho Matorin came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Pesnica NK's Bernard Pernek. But to his dismay, Bernard Pernek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Aldin ReÅ¡ came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Trebnje NK's Stevan Metzkar. But to his dismay, Stevan Metzkar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stevan Metzkar to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Pesnica NK got a freekick which was hit by Valen Vitez. Aldin ReÅ¡ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maksimiljan Pavalec in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aziz Švegl in the 56th minute of play forced Pesnica NK's goalkeeper Aldin ReÅ¡ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borislav Novak came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardinho Matorin could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Pesnica NK defense, Blagoje Popivoda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldin ReÅ¡. The Pesnica NK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldin ReÅ¡ should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Stevan Metzkar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Aldin ReÅ¡ was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blagoje Popivoda took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldin ReÅ¡. Aldin ReÅ¡ dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Stevan Metzkar put it in 7-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aldin ReÅ¡. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stevan Metzkar in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldin ReÅ¡ saved Pesnica NK from getting behind. Blagoje Popivoda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldin ReÅ¡ having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stevan Metzkar in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aldin ReÅ¡ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saša Ajdič scored 8-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldin ReÅ¡, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blagoje Popivoda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luban Kostanjevec hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Stevan Metzkar struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Aldin ReÅ¡ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebnje NK. Pesnica NK's Aldin ReÅ¡ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevan Metzkar in the 87th minute of play. Saša Ajdič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stevan Metzkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Aldin ReÅ¡ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stevan Metzkar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Aziz Švegl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trebnje NK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
