When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Dennis Beškovnik took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Anže Sajovec to make any attempt to save it. Anže Sajovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Gates in the 10th minute of the match. Will Gatess short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Anže Sajovec to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Medvode's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Will Gates scored to the left of an out of position Anže Sajovec, making the score, 2-0. Aleksander Kutnjak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Anže Sajovec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Džan Verdev came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Hodoš fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Džan Verdev couldn't finish the play. Hodoš had played much better football throughout.
