Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stevan Metzkar got the match started through his kick off. Zorko Andrić came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Trebnje NK's Željko Urek. But to his dismay, Željko Urek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rado Gruntar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Ricardinho Matorin made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Ecij Mihalek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardinho Matorin was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rado Gruntar got free with Ricardinho Matorin in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Željko Urek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 22 minutes, Ecij Mihalek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Kočevje's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ecij Mihalek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rado Gruntar came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardinho Matorin could save by the left post. In the 24thth minute of the game Stevan Metzkar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardinho Matorin made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Rado Gruntar sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blagoje Popivoda in the 32nd minute of play forced NK Kočevje's goalkeeper Zorko Andrić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as NK Kočevje's Ecij Mihalek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardinho Matorin. That made the score 1-1 after 35 minutes of play. In the 37th minute, Ecij Mihalek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorko Andrić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stevan Metzkar's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Saša Ajdič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zorko Andrić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ecij Mihalek in the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Ecij Mihalek made the kick off in the second half. Luc Ahlin took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardinho Matorin. Ricardinho Matorin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blagoje Popivoda in the 55th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Trebnje NK's Stevan Metzkar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zorko Andrić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Zorko Andrić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stevan Metzkar in the 69th minute. Stevan Metzkar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zorko Andrić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Ricardinho Matorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ecij Mihalek, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Trebnje NK's Ricardinho Matorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Čedomir Birk in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Stevan Metzkar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stevan Metzkar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zorko Andrić having to make a save. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Kočevje's goalkeeper Zorko Andrić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, NK Kočevje's Čedomir Birk got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Matej Štrumbelj hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ecij Mihalek in the 86th minute of play forced Trebnje NK's goalkeeper Ricardinho Matorin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NK Kočevje's Zorko Andrić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save NK Kočevje from getting a goal against them. Stevan Metzkar struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Zorko Andrić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebnje NK. Dean Jaklin charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Jaklin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in NK Kočevje fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Trebnje NK's Saša Ajdič got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trebnje NK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
