Spectators: 8519 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 2119, VIP seats: 100) Stevan Metzkar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Medvode's Lan Ivnik got a free kick in the 6th minute. Trebnje NK's Blagoje Popivoda got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aziz Švegl struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Anže Sajovec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trebnje NK. After 14 played minutes Trebnje NK got a freekick which was hit by Saša Ajdič. Saša Ajdič kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Lan Ivnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ricardinho Matorin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardinho Matorin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesud Mihovec in the 19th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, Medvode's Mesud Mihovec made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardinho Matorin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blagoje Popivoda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Lan Ivnik had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardinho Matorin. Trebnje NK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lan Ivnik was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Anže Sajovec was a little too slow when Blagoje Popivoda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-2. The Trebnje NK fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Trebnje NK's Stevan Metzkar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stevan Metzkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matej Štrumbelj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Anže Sajovec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mesud Mihovec to strike the kick off in the second half. Matej Štrumbelj's late challenge caught a Medvode's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matej Štrumbelj helped the player get up and apologised. Anže Sajovec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stevan Metzkar in the 55th minute of play. If Aziz Švegl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anže Sajovec came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Trebnje NK's Blagoje Popivoda. But to his dismay, Blagoje Popivoda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevan Metzkar in the 63rd minute of play forced Medvode's goalkeeper Anže Sajovec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blagoje Popivoda might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anže Sajovec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Blagoje Popivoda ran back to his position shaking his head. Stevan Metzkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anže Sajovec having to interfere. Medvode's Anže Sajovec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stevan Metzkar in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Medvode's zone, Saša Ajdič stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anže Sajovec came out of the goal and Saša Ajdič tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Stevan Metzkar put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Anže Sajovec. Anže Sajovec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stevan Metzkar in the 74th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Stevan Metzkar notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Medvode's Anže Sajovec. Anže Sajovec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Blagoje Popivoda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anže Sajovec having to interfere. If Blagoje Popivoda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stevan Metzkar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Anže Sajovec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anže Sajovec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aziz Švegl in the 95th minute of the match. The supporters of Medvode booed when Trebnje NK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matej Štrumbelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Trebnje NK were the better team. Trebnje NK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
