Iris Derganc stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Muharem Mohar. 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Gašper Mihalek notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Godovič's Dorjano Musek. Dorjano Musek was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Dani Cej in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Słowenia FC's Tevž Juršič. Niko Padežnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 33 played minutes Słowenia FC got a freekick which was hit by Tevž Juršič. 35 minutes into the match, Godovič's goal looked a bit too open when Niko Padežnik came free, but Dorjano Musek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godovič's Dorjano Musek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niko Padežnik in the 42nd minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Godovič's Nace Bradač made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Muharem Mohar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nace Bradač to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niko Padežnik in the 54th minute of play forced Godovič's goalkeeper Dorjano Musek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorjano Musek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gašper Mihalek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Słowenia FC's Tevž Juršič got a free kick in the 58th minute. Niko Padežnik blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorjano Musek having to make a save. In the 66th match minute, Słowenia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siniša Bogić to maneuver through the defense. If Niko Padežnik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gašper Mihalek kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gašper Mihalek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dorjano Musek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Słowenia FC's Niko Padežnik got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Niko Padežnik made a precise shot to the right of Dorjano Musek. Godovič's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. With a little luck, Słowenia FC's Muharem Mohar got control of the ball when Ivan Å abić tried to sneak it across the goal line.
