Simeon Plestenjak might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanko Žak. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Simeon Plestenjak ran back to his position shaking his head. Milko Likar kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, nk.topničarji's Luca Mihajloski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanko Žak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Vlado Bregar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanko Žak came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by nk.topničarji's Ivo Vitez. But to his dismay, Ivo Vitez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind sveti vrh's goalkeeper Stanko Žak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, nk.topničarji was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simeon Plestenjak to maneuver through the defense. Stanko Žak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ordančo Virant in the 32nd minute of play. If Ordančo Virant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanko Žak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Vitez in the 41st minute of play. The sveti vrh players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. nk.topničarji were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ordančo Virant to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes nk.topničarji got a freekick which was hit by Ordančo Virant. The crowd rose to their feet as Ordančo Virant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stanko Žak. That made the score 0-4 in the 55 minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Vlado Bregar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Stanko Žak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luca Mihajloski kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Simeon Plestenjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, sveti vrh's goalkeeper Stanko Žak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milutin Stojko. In the 71st minute, sveti vrh's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ivo Vitez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 75th minute, nk.topničarji's Julij Klinec ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanko Žak. Stanko Žak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Ordančo Virant succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. In the 84th minute Ordančo Virant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanko Žak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 85 minutes of play, nk.topničarji's Ordančo Virant made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanko Žak was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, nk.topničarji's Ordančo Virant sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanko Žak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Ivo Vitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. nk.topničarji's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivo Vitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julij Klinec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-9 became the score in the 95th minute when Milutin Stojko elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
