After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Niko Padežnik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Słowenia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Niko Padežnik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel França breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Niko Padežnik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miguel França was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Niko Padežnik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel França read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, NK MONT's goal looked a bit too open when Branivoj Borišek came free, but Miguel França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Padežnik in the 29th minute of the match. The Słowenia FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Słowenia FC's Tevž Juršič looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute Branivoj Borišek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niko Padežnik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel França having to interfere. Muharem Mohar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael De Lucca in the 55th minute of play. In the 65th minute, Borko Srakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tevž Juršič fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel França having to interfere. Niko Padežnik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Branivoj Borišek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niko Padežnik struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Miguel França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Słowenia FC. NK MONT's Miguel França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragiša Karlatec in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes NK MONT got a freekick which was hit by Borko Srakar. After having played for 77 minutes, Raphael De Lucca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK MONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael De Lucca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 81 minutes into the game, when Voranc Polšak put in a rough tackle. In the 84th minute there was a penalty for NK MONT. Hristofor Súrbev stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Muharem Mohar. 2-3. Muharem Mohar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael De Lucca in the 87th minute of play.
